Brock Kappelmann - March 19, 2023 8:06 pm Two frustrating first innings paved the way for the Seward baseball team to drop a pair of games at Cloud Sunday afternoon and evening. The Cloud Thunderbirds scored nine in the first in game one and eight in the first inning of game two in a sweep of the Saints at the Concordia Sports Complex. Cloud beat Seward 13-2 in five innings and 15-4 in seven innings to take the series 3-1 over SCCC for the second straight season. In game one, the Saints came out ready to hit.
